Ascena Retail Group has promoted new presidents for its Loft, Ann Taylor, and Lou & Grey brands.

The firm has named Andrew Clarke as president of Loft, while Julie Rosen has been promoted to lead Ann Taylor and Lou & Grey.

"I'm pleased that we were able to draw from the deep talent bench within Ascena to fill these critical customer-facing roles, and look forward to working with Julie, Andrew, and the rest of the Ascena brands leadership team to drive sustainable product-led growth," said CEO Gary Muto.

Since 2017, Clarke has served as executive vice president, chief merchandising officer at Ascena's Justice brand. During his tenure, he led critical initiatives that have allowed the brand to increase its speed to market and react faster to customer needs.

Rosen, meanwhile, has served as senior vice president, general merchandise manager at Ascena's Ann Taylor brand since 2016. In early 2018, her role was expanded to include the Lou & Grey brand.

Ascena, which operates around 4,700 stores, is more than a year into its 'Change for Growth' programme that has seen its business restructured to focus on key customer segments, improve its time-to-market and reduce working capital, with the changes including a new brand services team to oversee supply chain, sourcing, and logistics.

Earlier this year it named Erin Stern to president of its value fashion Dressbarn brand.
