Upscale retailer of men's fashions, Austin Reed Group Plc, will on Wednesday open the doors to its new international brand flagship store in the heart of London's shopping district.

The company spent more than £12 million redeveloping the 32,250 square foot Regent Street store and expects the facelift to boost sales through increased footfall and higher average spend.

Chief executive Roger Jennings said: "The newly redeveloped Austin Reed international flagship store in Regent Street strengthens Austin Reed's brand proposition and reflects our confidence in the future prospects for growth for the group in the UK, and internationally.

"The store itself has been transformed, and provides a new and important focal point for our customers and international licensees."
