Sanjiv Singh has been named CEO of German men's wear brand Baeumler and will assume his new duties in the next few months.

He joins the company from Escada, where he was the fashion house's global sales director.

Singh began his career in 1995 as international sales manager and later as head of international sales at Hugo Boss before becoming brand manager for Tommy Hilfiger Tailored.

"We want to further expand the creative side of the company and are convinced that Sanjiv Singh, with his experience and ability to innovate, is the man to take Baeumler forward," said supervisory board chairman Geza Martin Toth-Feher.

Singh said: "Baeumler is a company with a lot of potential and outstanding products. My aim is to work together with all employees to exploit that potential and to contribute to the strategic development of the company's brands."
