The legal battle between Arun Kumar Bajoria and Bombay Dyeing over the acquisition of shares, has been adjourned by the Principal Bench of the Company Law Board until April.

The adjournment will enable Mr Bajoria to file copies of any letters or communications from the Calcutta Stock Exchange in reply to his letter with regards to the purchase of shares of Bombay Dyeing.

Bajoria has so far relied on two letters reportedly from the Stock Exchange, one informing SEBI that it had not received any intimation from Bajoria about the acquisition of shares and the other stating that it had found Bajoria's letter and had asked for Bajoria and his associates to arrange a visit.

The Company Law Board is seeking to clear up the apparent contradictions.
