Swiss shoe, clothing and accessories brand Bally International has appointed Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz as its new artistic designers.

They succeed Brian Atwood who left the company shortly after presenting his autumn/winter 2010/2011 collection for Bally in Milan.

Fidler and Herz join Bally from UK fashion company Aquascutum.

Commenting on their appointment, Bally’s president and CEO Berndt Hauptkorn said: "They understand fully what the requirements are of a traditional fashion house and how to bring it out its potential in adding a touch of modernity."

Bally’s parent Labelux Group, which is owned by the Vienna-based family-controlled firm Joh A Benckiser SE, generates 50% of its revenues from shoes.
