The two directors of bankrupt clothing company 101 Clothing have agreed not to take on new management roles after an investigation by the Department of Industry and Trade's Insolvency Department.

Surinder Singh and Jaspal Singh, who operated the Leicester-based company, have agreed not to hold management positions for nine and four years respectively.

101 Clothing was placed into voluntary liquidation in 2002 after it accumulated debts of approximately £276,000.

The men are said to have not kept, or to have concealed from liquidators, adequate accounting records, and to have let 101 enter into trade and transactions to the risk of creditors.
