Ready-to-wear clothing group Barbara Bui yesterday posted a turnover of 12.2 million euros for the first half of 2002, up 23 per cent year-on-year.

Sales at Barbara Bui boutiques were 4.0 per cent ahead, and first half sales in the US and Asian markets were up 15 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.

The group's chairman William Halimi said expected to achieve a turnover of 30 million euros in 2003.
