Brenda Palmer has joined NexCen Brands as vice president of licensing and brand development.

Palmer most recently spent four years with Jordache Enterprises as VP of licensing with responsibility for the positioning and expansion of all Jordache brands.

Earlier in her career, she worked in a variety of positions with companies including the Greg Norman Collection unit of Reebok, Nautica Apparel, Liz Claiborne Accessories and Polo Ralph Lauren.

"Brenda's expertise in acquiring, licensing and marketing premium brands will be a significant asset as we aim to increase market share in all of our verticals," said Robert D'Loren, president and CEO of NexCen.

NexCen's brand portfolio includes Bill Blass, the Athlete's Foot and its most recent acquisition, Waverly.
