Leading footwear retailer Brown Shoe Co Inc on Monday announced a series of executive promotions and named Jocelyn Hebert joins as senior vice president of wholesale sales for its flagship Naturalizer division.

The St Louis-based company said Hebert was most recently vice president and national sales manager for Aerosoles and her experience also includes footwear sales roles for Margaret Jerrold Shoes and Stuart Weitzman.

"This move is an important part of building our Naturalizer team for the future," said Brown Shoe CEO Ron Fromm. "We envision great things for the Naturalizer brand, which has yet to reach its full potential.

"Jocelyn Hebert has the right background and leadership skills to allow us to better serve our department store and specialty store partners as we take Naturalizer to the next level and increase our brand preference among their customers."

The operator of more than 1,300 stores also announced the promotions of James Anderson, Clay Jenkins, Richard Price, Richard Schumacher and Paul Shapiro to senior vice president.

It named Anderson SVP finance; Jenkins SVP and general manager of Pagoda Women; Price SVP of information systems and technology; Ranger vice president branded licensing; Schumacher SVP and chief accounting officer; and Shapiro SVP and general manager of Buster Brown & Co children's division.

"These promotions further enhance our commitment to building a strong Brown Shoe team that is able to compete aggressively in the footwear marketplace," Fromm added.
