Upmarket fashion brand Calvin Klein is planning to open its first East Asian store in Beijing, president Tom Murry was quoted by the Wall Street Journal as saying.

The company is eyeing March for its target of breaking into China, as it tries to "get positioned and established for the future", Murry said.

The 250-sq-m store will be just one of seven Calvin Klein stores globally.

A spokesman at Calvin Klein did not respond to just-style's request for comment.
