The Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada trade show has expanded for 2018 and expects over 5,000 buyers to visit its three days of seminars, open panels and more than 500 exhibits.

Taking place at the Toronto International Centre from 20-22 August, the show is aimed at buyers looking to source apparel, textiles and fabrics, in addition to new general merchandise categories.

Included are three days of seminars covering topics such as fashion, sourcing, logistics, best practice, and trade agreements. Sessions include 'The Impact of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Disruption on the Supply Chain,' and 'How Responsible Sourcing Impacts Your Bottom Line.'

An on-site business matchmaking service will also be offered to link overseas suppliers and contacts with interested Canadian show attendees.

Meanwhile, a 'Made in Ukraine' section will introduce eight designers and manufacturers, and a display of offerings from China's top ten brands and the newest fashion innovations from countries such as Switzerland, Spain, the US, the UK, India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal, will form part of the event.

"Nowhere else in Canada can you find this kind of opportunity for international apparel networking and product displays under one roof, without having to travel overseas," says Jason Prescott, CEO of JP Communications.

Registration, which includes a three-day pass to both the exhibits and conference sessions, is free of charge.
