Babies and infants' clothing marketer Carter's Inc has reported a 23 per cent second-quarter sales increase, driven by good performance across all channels.

Net sales totalled USD192.5 million compared to USD156.3m in the same period last year, while same-store sales rose 7.1 per cent during the quarter.

Fred Rowan, chairman and chief executive officer, said: "We continue to experience strong results in all channels of distribution because of our focus on essential core products and superior execution."
