Bankrupt men's wear retailer Casual Male Corp has won court approval to auction around 80 leases on its Casual Male Big & Tall, Repp Big & Tall, and B&T Factory Stores in an effort to maximise the potential return to its creditors.

The auction will take place on 30 October and all bids must be submitted by 25 October.

"The leases constitute a valuable asset of the company's estates through which a recovery for all creditors will be obtained," Casual Male said.

Casual Male is closing roughly 80 of its locations. The shutdown will be complete by 6 January 2002.
