US denim brand Celebrity Pink and Liverpool Jeans has invested in PLM to help accelerate its development process and shorten time to market.

The LA-based company has turned to Gerber Technology's YuniquePLM platfom to accelerate time to market, building on its successful use of the company's industry-leading AccuMark software in its design and development process.

Celebrity Pink and Liverpool Jeans is a multi-category brand that sells junior and women's contemporary denim, apparel, footwear, and accessories in department and speciality stores across North America and Europe, including Macy's, Bon-Ton, Dillards, Delia's and more.

The company selected YuniquePLM for its ability to deeply integrate with their design and assortment tools.

"We are thrilled to add Celebrity Pink and Liverpool Jeans to our fast growing family of customer partners taking advantage of YuniquePLM In The Cloud," says Bill Brewster, vice president and general manager, enterprise software solutions for Gerber Technology. "YuniquePLM's integration capabilities make the platform especially well-suited for large, international apparel companies.

"What's more, the solution allows reduction in cycle time and streamlines the entire process of delivering new products to market."

Last month, Gerber was sold by owner Vector Capital to middle-market private equity firm American Industrial Partners (AIP) in a move aimed at broadening the group's product offerings and expanding its global reach.
