French textile group Chargeurs SA said today that its third-quarter sales increased 2.2 per cent to EUR280 million from EUR274 million. For the first nine months of 2001, sales rose 5.8 per cent to EUR935 million from EUR884 million in the year-earlier period. Earlier this year the company said that it expects net profit in 2001 to be in line with last year's figures.
