The board of directors of VF Corporation has elected Charles V Bergh to serve as a director at the company.

Bergh is group president of global personal care for the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G).

Bergh has held a progression of leadership roles during his 25-year career with P&G, having been appointed to his current role in 2007. He has responsibility for P&G's $15bn global personal care business, which includes Gillette Blades & Razors, Braun, and P&G's Personal Beauty Care portfolio.
