The collapse of Australia's famous Charlie Brown fashion label with debts of A$6-9 million and around 300 creditors has caused shockwaves throughout the industry. The demise of the company which was founded by husband and wife partnership Charlie Brown and Danny Avidan, comes just three months after surf and street wear label Hound Dog Clothing failed with debts of $4.3 million. Discovery Clothing, the manufacturing arm, and Clothing Outlets, the Charlie Brown retail division, have been placed into voluntary administration.
