Apparel licensor Cherokee Inc has posted an 18 per cent profit for the third quarter compared to last year, citing revenues of $6.06 million.

The Van Nuys-based company, which markets and licenses a variety of owned brands, also saw royalty revenues rise 11.25 per cent year-on-year to $6.74m for the quarter.

Total profit, meanwhile, was $2.46m, compared to $2.09m in the same period a year ago.

Cherokee's clients include Target, Marshall Fields, Mervyn's, Hearst Publications, Zellers and Shanghai Bolderway.
