Calvin Klein Jeans, a division of The Warnaco Group Inc is launching a new young contemporary jeans line under the recently established Choice Calvin Klein brand name.

Developed in conjunction with Calvin Klein Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, the new denim line targets the younger, fashion-conscious female consumer.

Choice Calvin Klein will be distributed in North and South America from spring 2005, and underwear and swimwear ranges have also been announced.

The denim offerings include dark vintage, sandblast, bleached blue and graffiti denim washes and treatments, and the collection will include jeans, mini skirts, short-shorts and gauchos.

The non-denim portion of the line features satin bombers, sweater knits, T-shirts, halters, and layered tank tops accented with sequins and stretch lace.

"The introduction of jeanswear represents our third move into the growing junior market with the new Choice Calvin Klein brand name," said Tom Murry, president and chief operating officer of New York-based Calvin Klein Inc.
