Belgium-based Concordia Textiles has signed a long term deal naming Custom Tailored Manufacturing (CTM) as its distributor of fashion fabrics sold in the USA.

CTM was founded in 1992 and delivers manufacturing solutions from its wholly-owned Mexico facilities as well as finished product development and importation. Concordia manufactures a range of products for active outerwear, casual wear and safety and leisure use.

Rik Demeyere, vice president of sales and marketing for Concordia Textiles said: "Our goal here is to educate the US market with regards to the trends that have gained popularity with our European customer base.

"CTM represents a unique partner in that it has such a strong manufacturing base in both Mexico and Asia. Together we can offer full package programmes."

CTM's chief executive officer, Gary Goldberg said: " Concordia adds a new level of product to our diverse group of textile-based manufacturing solutions."
