The challenges and opportunities facing the European textile and fashion industry will be the focus of the third annual Euratex Convention, which is to take place later this year.

Entitled 'Outlook 2015: Fashion and Textiles in Europe', the event is being held in association with Belgian textile and fashion associations CREAMODA and FEDUSTRIA, and will bring together experts to exchange their views on the future of clothing and textiles in Europe.

With the economic situation in Europe having an "indispensable" influence on the private consumption of textile and fashion goods, the opening panel will examine trends in consumers behaviour.

Industry executives will also discuss new horizons for the European textile and clothing industry through innovation and modernisaton.

The afternoon session will be dedicated to an overview of technology developments affecting the market for personal protective equipment.

Attendees will be able to take a closer look at the EU policies and regulatory changes influencing the sector. The event will take place on 18 November at the Husa President Park Hotel, Brussels.
