Cotton Mill is moving the distribution of its garment accessories (zips, interlinings, tapes and threads) to a purpose-built warehouse in Romania. But the company says its three existing London depots will continue to process orders and rush goods to UK based customers.

Earlier this year the group acquired thread supply specialist Kahan Brothers - probably best known by its Sewmaster, Coremaster and Bondmaster branded products - which will run alongside Cotton Mill's Super Stretch, Comisa and Polylock threads.

Cotton Mill also plans to open additional distribution centres in both Morocco and in Turkey by early 2003.
