Outdoor clothing company Craghoppers has strengthened its team to build on the current growth of its namesake and Bear Grylls Survival Clothing brands.

The firm said today (19 April) that Justin Nugent is its new head of retail responsible for growing Craghoppers’ retail concession programme and maximising revenue streams from its 92 UK stores.
It has also hired two new senior designers. Sally Tyson previously worked with brands such as Ellesse, Rockport, Caterpillar and Slazenger; while Sarah Nightingale has experience at O’Neill and New Balance.

Lindsey Hayes has been appointed as the new international sales director, a newly created role to manage all sales and distribution aspects as the company grows its international markets.

US-based Lindsey brings 15 years of managerial experience at companies such as Caterpillar, Columbia, Nike ACG and Timberland, as well as key sales roles at Adidas, Reebok and Donnay.
And Aiden Wells joins as sales manager with responsibility for the continued growth of sales across all markets, and new business for the Bear Grylls brand.

Craghoppers’ managing director Jim McNamara said the new team “will benefit the company in our quest to develop and market new and innovative products.”
