Footwear brand Crocs has appointed Scott Crutchfield as chief operating officer.

He will be responsible for leading all day-to-day operations for the company, including overseeing worldwide manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain management and information technology.

Previously, Crutchfield served as senior vice president of worldwide operations at Crocs since May 2010. He joined the company in 2006 as vice president of worldwide operations.

"Scott's strong track record leading all aspects of Crocs' global operations for the past six years makes him the ideal candidate to serve as our chief operating officer," said president and CEO John McCarvel.

"As Crocs continues our focus on sustainable, profitable global growth, Scott will be a valuable resource in helping us achieve operational efficiencies and excellence."

Crutchfield has held positions at Jabil Circuit, Flextronics, Dovatron International and Square D.
