Thermal underwear maker Damartex has reported a 4.7 per cent year-on-year rise in turnover to EUR412.2 million for the first nine months of the current fiscal year.

The French company, formed after the split of Damart in July 2002, also posted a 6.2 per cent year-on-year increase in third quarter sales to EUR134.3m.

According to the company, the improved results were largely due to domestic sales growth of 8.3 per cent year-on-year during the quarter.
