Colour technology company Datacolor is joining up with China Textile Information Center (CTIC) to introduce digital colour communication in China.

Datacolor and CTIC will provide training and certification programmes in digital colour management. The programmes will be key components of the China National Color System (CNCS).

Additionally, Datacolor will jointly participate with CTIC in the Color China Project, Fabric China, the Fashion Resource Club, and other programmes.

The aim is to help Chinese textile and fashion apparel companies improve their competitiveness in the global market through use of its various solutions.

"With the rapid growth of Chinese industries, retailers and manufacturers need colour applications that streamline colour communication, save time, increase productivity, and improve quality," said Du YuZhou, chairman of China National Textile & Apparel Council (CNTAC).
