Textile giant Cone Mills Corp, the world's largest denim fabric manufacturer, on Tuesday reaffirmed its earnings guidance for the third quarter and full-year.

The North Carolina-based company said in a news release it still expects third quarter earnings of 8-10 cents per share and full-year earnings of 20-25 cents per share.

Cone, which will continue to maintain adequate liquidity of $20m-$25m under its bank credit facility, said it affirmed its earnings guidance "in view of the recent uncertainty in capital markets and the large number of negative earnings pre- announcements".

It added it is also in talks with a "number of potential capital partners that would provide funding for its Mexico expansion".
