Global luxury brand Diane von Furstenberg is replacing its existing product lifecycle management (PLM) system with BlueCherry Infinity PLM from Computer Generated Solutions as its platform for global apparel development and sourcing.

Once implemented, the solution should help to improve overall business processes, enhance productivity by reducing manual effort, boost visibility, and accelerate speed to market.

DVF needed a solution that would centralise its product development and link all departments in the development process.

The new system "creates a centralised hub of information that will promote synergy across all of our divisions," says Jeannie Lau, executive vice president, production and product development for Diane von Furstenberg.

The PLM implementation will allow the brand's teams to view vital information at an earlier stage in the process, allowing for multiple strategic business improvements. Diane von Furstenberg already uses the BlueCherry ERP tool.
