Denim-led fashion brand Diesel is looking for a new licensing partner in Australia after the death of its original licensee.

The licence has been put up for sale by Theo Onisforou and Lisa Keighery, respectively the business partner and wife of Mark Keighery, who introduced Diesel to Australia more than 20 years ago, but died in 2008.

Diesel has a total of four stores in Australia, and is also sold by some department stores in the country.

According to local reports, Onisforou and Keighery are looking for a potential licensee to take Diesel in Australia “to the next level”, rather than just choosing the highest bidder.

They want to find a buyer who will expand the number of Diesel shops in the country.
