Avanprint will highlight the latest innovations in digital textile printing technology

A new trade fair showcasing high-tech digital printing solutions for the apparel and textile industry is being launched in New York City next summer.

Avanprint USA is aimed at North America's apparel design and sourcing professionals, and will highlight the latest innovations in digital textile printing technology, including machinery, inks, software, products and services.

The new show follows the successful launch of Avanprint Paris earlier this year, and will debut at the Javits Convention Center alongside the Summer 2017 edition of Texworld USA, one of North America's leading fabric trade events.

The event is intended to provide fashion textile buyers and sourcing professionals with an opportunity to connect directly with market leaders in the digital printing industry in order to understand the advantages that advanced printing technology can provide throughout their design process and ultimately, to their bottom line.

The show will also feature live demonstrations of digital textile printing technologies and a textile print trend area.

The US digital textile market is the fifth largest worldwide, currently with over 51m square metres of fabric produced annually, or 5.4% of world production capacity.

In addition to the natural transition from analogue to digital technologies, growth is being stimulated by reshoring initiatives that are breathing new life into the wider US textile industry. Indeed, in the first half of 2016, digital textile production capacity in the USA grew by an annualised rate of 30%.

A joint partnership between Messe Frankfurt North America and World Textile Information Network (WTiN), Avanprint USA will take place at the Javits Convention Center on 17-19 July 2017. Click here for more details.
