Children's fashion and footwear group Du Pareil Au Meme on Tuesday reported a big jump in first half net profit to $924,000 from $737,000 in the year-ago period. The clothing and shoe designer, manufacturer and retailer said six month turnover slipped to $68 million from $72m last year while its operating profit fell to $2.4m from $3.2m in 2001.
