edaflow, a leading provider of business-to-business e-commerce solutions for the apparel industry, today announced the appointment of Bill King to president, apparel division. Mr. King will report to Tom Ponder, vice president of sales and business development for edaflow.

King will assume responsibilities for leading edaflow to market dominance within the apparel industry. He is backed with over 30 years of apparel industry and sales experience.

"Bill's impressive background along with a deep understanding of this industry will make him a valuable asset. He will play a critical role in helping us meet the needs of our customers," commented Ponder.

King most recently served as President of eMeasure, a Division of Jos. J. Pietrafesa, formed to develop mass customization programs with key retailers via the Internet and proprietary software.

Prior to eMeasure, King was principle and corporate consultant for AIC, an industry consultation practice, specializing in issues resolution for the consumer products industry with an apparel community focus. The practice provided U.S. and Canadian companies with solutions for launching new products into the marketplace and positioning businesses strategically in the supply chain. Prior to AIC, he was with the Jos. J. Pietrafesa Co. from 1992 to 1996 and served as president of the label products division.

King spent most of his career at Jos. & Feiss, where from 1989 to 1992, he was president and CEO, managing the company, its 2,100 employees and $110MM in sales volume. He served as divisional president from 1985 - '89 and managed the company's largest division, generating over $75MM in sales. King was responsible for a 50% sales increase from 1979 to '83, as Regional VP with the company, and personally generated over $10MM in annual sales. During this time, he became the youngest person ever promoted to vice president for Jos. & Feiss when he was appointed vice president and regional manager. He was awarded Salesman of the Year in 1978 and for the years of 1972 to '79, he drove an overall increase in sales of 100% for the seven-year period he was with the company. King began his career with Jos. & Feiss in 1968.
