El Corte Inglés, the largest department store retailer in Europe, has selected Dassault Systèmes’ 'My Collection for Fashion' 3D software solution to accelerate time-to-market of its private-label fashion collections.

The company said it needed to implement industry-specific best practices that would standardise product development and sourcing processes across its private-label brands.

Powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the solution provides the retailer with a single and unified digital environment that connects internal and external stakeholders, integrates its supply chain, and improves visibility, flexibility and decision support. This, El Corte Inglés explained, will help to mitigate the risk of incorrect samples, additional costs and production errors or delays.
