A group of Italian entrepreneurs has secured an agreement to buy 100 per cent of Scotland-based knitwear business Drumohr.

 The deal was signed by textile and garment group Ciocca SpA, the head of tie manufacturer E Marinella, and entrepreneur Pierluigi Giulini.

Ciocca signed a license deal to make Drumohr-labelled goods in 2001. The agreement included a possible option for Ciocca acquire Drumohr in the following nine years.
