Billed as the world's first and only mainstream trade show focused on ethical suppliers and manufacturers to the fashion industry, the Ethical Fashion Source Expo is gearing up its second show later this year.

Organised by the Ethical Fashion Forum, the annual event is taking place in central London in October alongside the RITE (Reducing the Impact of Textiles on the Environment) International Conference.

The two events will cast the spotlight on the issues of environmental sustainability and ethical fashion.

The Ethical Fashion Source Expo brings together international manufacturers, as well as suppliers of sustainable fabrics and components, all of which work to high ethical standards. There will also be a programme of seminars, introducing new products and exemplary supply and production systems.

Traditionally, sourcing to high ethical standards has been time-consuming and resource intensive for fashion designers, retailers and brands. This event aims to cut through the barriers and make it easy for firms to explore new sourcing routes.

The Ethical Fashion Source Expo will take place on Wednesday 6 October 2010 at Central Hall, Westminster, London, UK.
