The Export Promotion Bureau has been called in as an independent inspector following disagreements between a South African fabric processor and Pakistani exporters.

The row erupted after a Johannesburg processing firm claimed it had received below quality cotton yarn and cotton fabrics, a claim that the exporters strongly deny.

The Trade Commission for the two countries has called for the Export Promotion Bureau to try and settle the dispute. Both countries are said to be worried about the images being formed of their industries.
