French fashionwear firm Façonnable is launching Façonnable Jeans at its network of stores and distributors from the first quarter of 2011.

Façonnable Jeans will have its own managing director in the person of Bruno Pfalzgraf, whose career has included senior posts at VF Corp, Levi Strauss Europe and Dockers Europe. It is part of a strategy to develop the brand and make it more appealing to consumers in a younger age bracket.

Façonnable says its spring/summer 2011 jeans collection received a warm reception from customers in Europe and the US.

The concerted move into jeans follows the appointment of a new CEO in May this year, with Lance Isham succeeding Alberto Lavia.
