Consumer watchdogs have seized dozens of pairs of fake Scuba men's underwear during a raid on clothing store.

Officers from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Department swooped on the shop and found 170 pairs of counterfeit underwear following a complaint from the brand owner.

Officials say the items were being sold at a huge discount to the real garments and added the 26-year-old store owner now faces a fine of up to $26,000 or three years' jail if found guilty.
