Luxury goods powerhouse LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton recorded a 19% surge in revenues in the first nine months of the year, with fashion and leather goods posting growth of 20%.

LVMH said Louis Vuitton continued its “exceptional” global appeal, while leather goods lines Monogram and Damier also achieved strong growth.

Strong momentum has also returned to fashion labels Donna Karan and Fendi since the beginning of the year, the company added.

LVMH said the performance “confirmed its confidence” in 2010 as a whole, pledging to continue a proactive strategy based on innovation and targeted geographical expansion into the most promising markets.
