Gay and lesbian support group Lambda Legal has reached an agreement with sports apparel retailer Foot Locker Inc after a former employee of the company said he was harassed by co-workers because of his sexuality.

Under the agreement, Foot Locker will train its employees on harassment issues as well as giving a monetary compensation to the former employee, Kevin Dunbar.

Dunbar worked from two different stores in Columbia between May and August, having been transferred from one to another after complaining that co-workers were addressing him in derogatory terms in front of customers.
