Golf shoe brand FootJoy has introduced the Boa Lacing System - more typically used for ski and snowboard footwear - to a range of golfing shoes.

The ReelFit range features two feet of adjustable steel micro-cable and a dial system aimed at preventing fit from changing as a golfer plays his round.

Reelfit keeps feet secure throughout the golf swing and while walking between shots, claims FootJoy.

"We are thrilled to be the first to market with this unique technology in golf - this performance product will have a dramatic effect on consumers' golf shoe expectations in the future," said Rob Kelley, director of footwear marketing at FootJoy.

In addition to the unique lacing system, ReelFit shoes are loaded with several other features including premium waterproof ECL Leather by Pittards of England, full leather linings, cushioned PU Fit-Beds, and GelCollar with IntelliTemp cooling.
