Fossil, Inc (Nasdaq: FOSL) today announced the election of Junichi Hattori to its board of directors. Mr Hattori currently serves as president and CEO of Seiko Instruments, Inc. The company's board of directors, following Mr. Hattori's election, includes nine members, four members of senior management and five independent directors.

Mr Hattori has spent most of his career with Seiko, rising to his current position of president and CEO in 1999.
