Four new executives have been appointed at specialist retailer The Children’s Place, in a range of functions from merchandising to human resources.

They are: Natalie Levy, new senior vice president, merchandising, who joins on 3 May; Barrie Scardina, svp, planning and allocation, from 10 May; Dina Sweeney, svp, outlets, an internal appointment; and Larry McClure, svp, human resources, who joined the company on 8 March.

Scardina and McClure join the company from Liz Claiborne, Levy previously worked for Ann Taylor, and Sweeney was previously svp, merchandising, at The Children’s Place.

All report to president and CEO Jane Elfers, who said the appointments reflected the need to focus on five key initiatives, including merchandise and inventories, as well as outlet retailing.
