Technology and business service firm FranchiseMaster Technologies has signed a deal with Canadian fashion firm A-Wear Clothing. Under the agreement, FranchiseMaster Technologies (FMT) has exclusive rights to advise franchise development, market and sell A-Wear franchises throughout North America for three years.

In return, FranchiseMaster is giving A-Wear 800,000 common shares. The shares are subject to applicable Exchange and Statutory hold periods.

A-Wear is a multi-million dollar Vancouver-based vertically integrated fashion business owned by the Leone family. It has pioneered a niche market between high quality casual clothing and high-end designer clothes.

FranchiseMaster says one of the reasons it has linked up with A-Wear is that it has a strong proven niche market.

Commenting on the deal, Marcello Leone, vice-president of A-Wear said: "We are very excited about the franchise business development agreement with FMT, combining their significant franchising expertise and services with A-Wear's fashions, business systems and committed management."
