The French Trade Commission in London is teaming up with the Association for the Promotion of Clothing Manufacturers in the West of France (APHO) to hold a French Fashion Day in London later this month.

The event, which is being held for the fourth time, will showcase the skills of 15 French contract clothing manufacturers that are seeking to develop business links with British designers.

The West of France is home to 400 SMEs employing 14,000 staff across all aspects of the clothing sector.

The French Fashion Day will highlight the expertise of contract clothing manufacturers from the region, which produce prêt-à-porter and couture collections for leading French and international designers including Chloe, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Christian Dior.

The event will take place at Le Méridien Piccadilly Hotel in central London, on 22 April.

Companies taking part in the event include Albea, Atelier Styl' Couture, Ateliers De Belleville, Bohain Picardie, Confection Rousseau, Court Metrage, Distribution Production Logistique, Getex, Marty, Plisses De France, PR3, Productions Simon Fonlupt, Socovet Sistem, Textile Du Maine, and Vendee Couture.
