Dutch denim wear company G-Star is planning to open flagship stores in Turin and Genoa, northern Italy, as well as Naples, southern Italy, export director Philip Truyen was reported by Italian News Digest as saying.

G-Star recently opened single-brand outlets in Rome and Milan, northern Italy, the digest reported. It currently sells its lines thru 540 multi-brand stores in Italy but wants to boost this to 600.

The company is also said to be planning a shoe line made in partnership with an Italian firm, which it will launch by the end of 2006.
