Specialty clothing retailer Gap Inc has seen its same-store sales fall 3% in February, with declines across all divisions.

The San Francisco based firm said net sales were down 2% to $821m, compared with $838m in the same month last year.

The company pointed out that February represents a relatively small part of its overall revenue, and that its management team is focused on full year goals.

By division, same-store sales fell 1% at Gap North America, and were down 4% at both Banana Republic North America and Old Navy North America. International sales fell 7%.
