The GBX men's footwear brand from Harbor Footwear Group Ltd saw a 380 per cent increase in unit share for the year ended December 2002, making it the leading brand in terms of share growth the company said today.

Using information was provided by market research firm The NPD Group, the Pt Washington, New York-based company said that for the year ended December 2002, GBX was the third best selling brand of men's casual footwear based on total unit share.

In December 2002 and January 2003, GBX ranked second in unit share in the men's casual footwear category but was ranked number one based on actual increases exceeding 1000 per cent in each month for both dollar and unit volume gains.
