T-shirt manufacturer Crazy Shirts has turned to GERS Retail Systems and software supplier Axion Solutions to update its retail technology.

Crazy Shirts, which is based in Hawaii and has 38 retail locations, will use GERS' merchandising solution to operate its stores, and Axion's PeopleSoft's EnterpriseOne solution to run its manufacturing operations.

GERS' merchandising allows a consistent flow of assortments from manufacturing, in order to rapidly pinpoint the stock positions in all channels and locations.

PeopleSoft's plant management, sales and work order management, and financials solutions will be integrated with the GERS solution and will feed data into the GERS retail data warehouse.

Mark Hollander, president and chief executive officer of Crazy Shirts, said that the company's old system was not only unable to handle a merchandising-led operation, but was also preventing growth.

He added: "GERS' merchandising solution allows us to be more nimble and dynamic in terms of planning and allocation."
