Clothing designer Giordano International has netted a licensing deal to design, make and sell garments featuring Disney cartoon character designs.

The collection, which has already been launched in Hong Kong and will be available in China from next week, includes adults and children's T-shirts and sweatshirts bearing a range of characters

The range will be launched in Taiwan and Southeast Asia in August, and South Korea and Australia in September.

The deal, which was signed in the run-up to the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland in September, represents Giordano's first licensing agreement with another brand.

Hong Kong-based Giordano, which operates over 1,500 outlets throughout Asia, Australia and the Middle East, will launch new designs for the range on a four-weekly basis.
